We’re proud to announce that Made For Trade has become a patron of The Teesside Charity, marking an important step in our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities. We’re especially delighted to be the charity’s first new patron of 2026.
The Teesside Charity plays a vital role across Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, and Redcar and East Cleveland, providing financial support to charities, community groups, schools, and initiatives that help people facing disadvantage throughout the Tees Valley.
Supporting Our Local Communities
Speaking about the partnership, Managing Director Bradley Gaunt said:
“We’re proud to become a patron of The Teesside Charity and support the brilliant work they do locally. We hope it encourages other businesses in the area to get involved too, so we can all play a part in strengthening our communities.”
The Tees Valley is made up of five local authorities and, while rich in resilience and ambition, faces significant challenges. The region experiences higher crime rates, greater unemployment, and more pupils eligible for free school meals than the national average. The Teesside Charity works at the heart of these communities, helping to create opportunities and deliver meaningful change where it’s needed most.

More Than a Donation
The commitment of the charity’s patrons, help support some of the most disadvantaged people in our region through regular donations. However, being part of The Teesside Charity is about far more than financial contributions — it’s about actively investing in the future of the Tees Valley and helping to make it a better place to live, work, and do business.
Continuing Our Support
Our decision to become a patron builds on our existing relationship with The Teesside Charity. Last year, Made For Trade donated £2,500 to the 2025 Christmas Toy Appeal, helping to provide toys for children of all ages across Teesside during the festive period.
Through this partnership, we look forward to continuing our support for the incredible work being done across the region and encouraging other local businesses to get involved.
