The countdown is on! In just 3 days, the incredible Handlebar Heroes will embark on their monumental 966-mile cycling challenge.
This May, as we shine a light on both Mental Health Awareness Week and celebrate National Bike Month, this dedicated team will be pedalling with purpose to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and Andy’s Man Club.
Leading the charge are two familiar faces from Made for Trade: our Commercial Director, Chris Wann, and our Head of Business Development, Leigh Greenwood. Joining them on this incredible journey are the dedicated Ashley Parkinson and Gareth Turner.
For the past few months, Chris, Leigh, Ashley, and Gareth have been putting in the hard yards, training rigorously in preparation to cycle around an impressive 120 miles each day.
Their challenging route:
- Day 1: Lands End to Moretonhampstead – 119 Miles
- Day 2: Moretonhampstead to Bristol – 118 Miles
- Day 3: Bristol to Crewe – 137 Miles
- Day 4: Crewe to Kendal – 114 Miles
- Day 5: Kendal to Biggar – 119 Miles
- Day 6: Biggar to Braemar – 119 Miles
- Day 7: Braemar to Alness – 112 Miles
- Day 8: Alness to John O’ Groats – 124 Miles
