The first six months of 2025 have been exceptionally busy and rewarding for Made For Trade. We’ve celebrated significant milestones, launched innovative new products, and continued our commitment to both our people and the wider community.
Kicking Off the Year at the NSBRC
January saw Made For Trade making a strong start at The National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC). Our Brand Ambassador Mark Millar and Sales Manager Kevin, were on hand at the National Self Build & Renovation Show (31st January – 2nd February) with over 200 exhibitors in the NSBRC’s Trade Village, they connected with hundreds of attendees, showcasing our Korniche Roof Lantern and the Korniche Flat Glass Rooflight on our stand.

- The Korniche Flat Glass Rooflight: Launched in 2024, this rooflight continued to impress with its ability to flood spaces with natural light and its easily replicable glass unit.
- The Award-Winning Korniche Bifold Door: A consistent favourite, our bifold door continued to showcase its smooth operation and robust construction.
- The Industry-Leading Korniche Roof Lantern: Renowned for its quality and design, the roof lantern remained a focal point for those seeking a premium solution for natural light.

Celebrating Dedication and Launching Innovations in April
April was a month of both celebration and innovation. We had the immense pleasure of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone: Brenda Webster’s 35 years of dedication to Made For Trade. We believe our people are our greatest asset, and Brenda’s long-standing commitment is a shining example of this.

FIT Show Success
Later in April, we were a prominent presence at the FIT Show 2025. This event was a major platform for us to unveil exciting new products:
- We launched the New Korniche Roof Lantern with captivating live demonstrations.
- We also showed off the New Korniche FlatLite and the New Korniche SIPS Upstand. In line with MFT’s reputation for practical innovation, the SIPS Upstand is a carefully developed solution designed to perfectly complement both the Korniche FlatLite bonded rooflight and Korniche Roof Lantern.

May’s Awards, Reviews and Miles
May brought further triumphs, both in industry recognition, customer satisfaction, and charitable endeavours. Made For Trade and Korniche were incredibly proud to be shortlisted for an amazing 16 categories at the National Fenestration Awards 2025. This achievement reflects more than just recognition; it speaks volumes about the dedication of our team, the trust of our customers, and the pursuit of innovation and quality that drives everything Made For Trade does.
We were also delighted to celebrate reaching 100 Trustpilot reviews, achieving a TrustScore that significantly surpasses industry standards.
Handlebar Heroes
Our “Handlebar Heroes” also made us incredibly proud by conquering a 966-mile cycling challenge from Land’s End to John O’Groats. This phenomenal team, including our own Commercial Director, Chris Wann, and Head of Business Development, Leigh Greenwood, along with Gareth Turner and Ashley Parkinson, cycled for eight gruelling days (May 17th – 24th). Their immense effort raised a grand total of £22,947.08 for two truly deserving charities: Cancer Research UK and Andy’s Man Club.
Official Launch and Continued Excellence in June
In June, we officially launched the Korniche FlatLite Rooflight, with deliveries now underway! This marks another significant step in our commitment to providing high-quality glazing solutions. The FlatLite is a scaled-back, streamlined version of our popular Korniche Flat Glass system, delivering the same outstanding performance with sleek aesthetics. Since 2016, the Korniche brand has set the standard for architectural glazing, beginning with the multi-award-winning Korniche Roof Lantern, and we’ve poured that same expertise into the FlatLite.
This half-year review truly highlights how much Made For Trade has achieved! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us.
